Employee Assistance Program
This instruction summarizes assistance for eligible employees (civilians and Service members) in need of counseling and who are addressing interpersonal conflicts concerning marriage, anxiety, conflicts at work, substance abuse and stress management. It is also intended for counseling issues that would involve less than six, in-person sessions to resolve.

Employee Assistance Program Coordinator (EAPC)
Each Health, Safety & Work-Life (HSWL) Regional Practice offers an employee assistance program coordinator to help you with any questions about support services available to you.

Coast Guard Chaplains
Chaplains provide 100% confidential counseling and advisement to members, families, and commands.

CG SUPRT
CG SUPRT provides assessment and short-term counseling for a wide range of needs including stress, family and relationship challenges, parenting, anxiety, depression, work-related concerns, substance abuse, or additional concerns that may impact your well-being. Sessions are available in-person or via telephone, video, and chat. These services are confidential within the bounds of the law.

Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA)
SAMHSA leads public health efforts to advance the behavioral health of the nation. Their website details counseling services for mental health and substance abuse—there is also treatment locator resource available.

HSWL Mobile App
For those looking for information about the support programs and services available to Coast Guard members and their families, there’s an app for that—available through the Health, Safety and Work-Life Office.

Focus on your personal resilience during a weekly call with Coast Guard experts. Each call focuses on a new topic, helping us expand our wellness toolkits during the pandemic and beyond.
