U.S. Department of Homeland Security recognizes employees at award ceremony hosted by Coast Guard Base Boston

The DHS Secretary’s Awards are an annual program that recognizes the extraordinary individual and collective achievements of the workforce.

In January 2023, crews aboard an over-the-horizon boat from Maritime Safety and Security Team San Francisco evaluate a proposed boat crew communications system supporting the Research and Development Center, Defense Innovation Unit and C5I Service Center Team, who won the Commander Joel Magnussen Innovation Award for Management.
