That’s why, during this Wellness Wednesday, guests from our leadership will speak about resources and offer advice that can help mitigate these experiences.

Behind the scenes, a team of dedicated individuals – spanning numerous specialties – stand ready to ensure that our Coast Guard heroes and their incredible families are always supported, too!

Coast Guard Chief Petty Officer Isa Mariano discusses her experience helping a woman who was contemplating suicide from the Golden Gate Bridge, mid-June 2020. Mariano talked with the woman, called her loved ones and with the help of a good Samaritan, brought the woman away from the ledge before bridge authorities arrived on scene to safely escort the woman from Golden Gate.
