Every year the Coast Guard participates in national civil rights awards programs to enable you to recognize and celebrate your coworkers and their contributions to civil rights and equal opportunity. In 2024, you can recognize and celebrate your coworkers by nominating them for any of the following awards.

Coast Guard “Oscars” recognize cutter excellence and superior cutterman 

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Chief Warrant Officer Jim Devane, commanding officer, Coast Guard Station Mayport, Fla., is awarded the Army Achievement Medal, Monday June 6, 2011, at a ceremony in Jacksonville. 37 members of Coast Guard Station Mayport were awarded the medal for their performance of duty in supporting the Army's Military Outload Mission in the Jacksonville area.
