Reminder: Tricare’s patient portal sunsets in April

By Defense Health Agency

Coast Guard members and their families that have not migrated their records from the Tricare online patient portal healthcare beneficiaries need to ensure all digital health records are downloaded before April 1. The Department of Defense is decommissioning the Tricare patient portal to transition to the new MHS Genesis records system.

How to save your records

To download the records, beneficiaries should log on to www.tricareonline.com and click the blue “Health Record” button to view and download personal health data. Beneficiaries can also choose the person, data types, date range, and format for the records that they need to download.

Patient records on the older Tricare system will not be transferred to MHS Genesis after the site is decommissioned. Each beneficiary must take responsibility to download your health records. Tricare has cautioned that failure to do so could lead to significant gaps in your medical history, potentially affecting your future healthcare.
