Coast Guard launches site on Strengthening Service Culture Initiative

The Coast Guard’s new website makes it quicker and easier than ever to get and stay informed on all the Strengthening Service Culture (SSC) efforts. Strengthening Service Culture is a sustained effort that will reinforce WHO we are and HOW we engage with one another. 

Here you can catch the latest MyCG articles on SSC topics, easily access resources, review the FAQs, and take a deep dive into each of the individual efforts that support the SSC Initiative.  

Through the SSC Initiative, we are: 

  • Ensuring a Safe and Supportive Workplace, 
  • Reinforcing Our Core Values, and 

  • Fostering Engaged Leadership. 

“We’re making meaningful and significant progress in Strengthening Service Culture,” said VADM Pete Gautier, the Coordinator for the Strengthening Service Culture initiative. “This new site allows you to track the status for each line of effort and learn more about how Strengthening Service Cultures is improving our Coast Guard.”
