GO COAST GUARD! You BEAT FEMA!
Early results indicate that USCG came in at a WHOPPING 59% unadjusted response rate, exceeding the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s (FEMA’s) valiant effort of 52%. The annual Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Federal Employment Viewpoint Survey (FEVS) closed July 14.
FEMA thought it could beat the Coast Guard’s showing. Thank you for once again demonstrating that the Coast Guard lives up to its reputation as a premier “response” agency.
With an unadjusted response rate of 59%, the Coast Guard places as the fifth highest agency out of the 15 subcomponents of DHS.
The above graph shows how Coast Guard civilians rallied to smash 2022 response rate of 33% and the 2023 response rate goal! Thank you to the Commandant and Deputy Commandant for Mission Support for supporting FEVS participation!
More information and reports on FEVS 2023 will be available this fall on the All Things FEVS SharePoint page.
