This special day of events includes “Beyond Firsts: Powering the Future Force,” featuring an unprecedented panel discussion with the four female 4-stars of the U.S. Department of Defense, and moderated by Norah O’Donnell of CBS. Following the panel will be a special unveiling of a portrait to honor the history and memory of Maj. Gen. Marcelite Harris into the Color of Freedom exhibit at the museum.

The unveiling with remarks by Lt. Gen. Tom Miller, Headquarters Air Force Deputy Chief of Staff for Logistics, Engineering and Force Protection, Maj. Gen. Linda Hurry, Headquarters Air Force Director of Logistics, and the daughter of Maj. Gen. Harris airs at 3:15 p.m. EST.
