Attend CG SUPRT’s May webinars on kids and money management, identity theft

By Nicole Bertrand, MyCG writer

Here are the latest webinars being offered by CG SUPRT:

“Raising Money-Savvy Kids” – Tuesday, May 3 at 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. EDT

Do you want to give your kids a leg-up when it comes to finances? That’s what this webinar is designed to do. You will learn ways to teach important money lessons to your children, such as the value of saving and wise spending. You will get practical tools you can use to guide your children in creating a life of financial health. Tips provided will make it easy for you to discuss, in an age-appropriate way, sound money principles with your kids.

“CG SUPRT – Identity Theft: Prevention, Protection & Resolution” – May 19 at 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. EDT

Identity theft is all too common. However, there are steps you can take to protect yourself. This webinar will focus on showing you how your personal data gets compromised and what you can do to prevent that from happening. You will also learn what steps to take immediately if you do become a victim.

“CG SUPRT hopes people will come away with new knowledge and resources in the areas of personal finance that are being addressed and that they will feel encouraged to reach out to a money coach for personal guidance,” said Mindy Hurtado, senior customer success account manager, CG SUPRT Financial Wellness Program. “Money coaching is a confidential, safe space to discuss what can sometimes be difficult. Coaches do not sell financial products but are there to partner with CG members to create a plan that embodies their values, priorities and goals -- one that reflects and works with their life.”
