SUBJ: PROMULGATION OF SCREENING FOR OVERSEAS DUTY

1. This message promulgates REF (A) and cancels REF (B).

2. Major changes to REF (A) incorporate updated guidance in REF (C) and REF (D), to include:

A. No-cost OCONUS move guidelines.

B. Streamlining e-resume screening procedures.

C. Streamlining medical screening procedures.

D. Removing screening requirements for assignment to the island of Oahu in
Hawaii and Anchorage in Alaska.

E. Reducing suitability restrictions for minor, NJP-level infractions.
