Summer is a time for fun in the sun, but you want to make sure it is also safe and healthy for you and your family. The sunny days of summer can be accompanied by serious dangers such as heat-related illnesses, sunburns, insect bites, and dehydration. A little caution and some summer safety tip refreshers can go a long way to prevent a mishap from turning into a disaster.
Please join us June 16 from 3-4 p.m.,1500-1600 ET as Capt. John Iskander, Chief of Preventative Medicine and Population Health and Cmdr. James Cooley from the Office of Safety discuss some basic first aid summer safety tips.
