The Health, Safety, and Worklife Directorate, Base National Capital Region, and the Civil Rights Directorate invite the entire Coast Guard workforce to learn more about the COVID-19 vaccine. Hesitancy exists among some communities of color in the United States due to historical instances of medical experimentation performed without informed consent. Hesitancy in some communities is also due to lack of access to information about how the COVID-19 vaccines were developed and tested, and what they may expect from a vaccine. Please join this discussion to be able to learn and share.
