The Coast Guard Foundation announced selectees for the enlisted reserve scholarship for the academic year of 2020-2021.
The foundation sponsored eight $1,000 scholarships to help offset the costs of higher education for enlisted Coast Guard reservists or their dependents.
“The quality of submissions this year was extremely high,” said Rear Adm. Todd Wiemers, Assistant Commandant for Reserve.
The applicants who were not selected for a scholarship are commended for their initiative and pursuit of higher education and are encouraged to compete again next year. The Coast Guard Foundation wishes them every success in completing their educational and career goals.
