The U.S. Naval Community College is set to take applications for the first phase of its Pilot II program starting Friday, Oct. 1, 2021.

The Coast Guard, and the Beach Haven Volunteer Fire Department rescued six boaters after their 30-foot white pleasure craft struck a fixed aid to navigation in the vicinity of Ham Island, Sept. 19, 2021.
