Microsoft 365 arrives at the Coast Guard

By the end of October, all Coast Guard workforce members –active duty, civilians, and reservists – will have a new email account through Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365). While emails will not turn off unexpectedly, there are some important changes to keep in mind as this transition begins.

Civilian Payroll Tax Deferral starts now

The Coast Guard’s civilian payroll provider will defer payroll taxes starting with your next paycheck, for pay period 18. The National Finance Center (NFC) is making this change to implement the Payroll Tax Deferral memorandum issued by President Donald J. Trump on Aug. 8.

The Blacks In Government Military Meritorious Service Award honors military members and Department of Defense (DoD) civilian employees, men and women, who have supported the DoD mission, overseas contingency operations, or whose attributes best epitomized the qualities and core values of their respective military service or other DoD component.
